LOGMOS TRACECA Regional Workshop in Brussels, 29 February 2012

The LOGMOS project team organized a regional workshop to discuss the project status, results achieved so far, lessons learned and activities to be performed.

The LOGMOS Team informed the meeting on the outcomes of the activities carried out within ten months of project implementation. In particular, the team updated the participants on the status of the existing pilot projects and working groups, Action Plans and follow-up activities of the previous MoS and Logistics Projects, and present the schedule of upcoming events.

The meeting also listened to the presentations on good practice examples by the Antwerp Port Authority and PLASKE, aspects of development of the logistics infrastructure (landlord port model, logistics centres implementations, management and marketing concepts), modern logistics technologies to improve the rail ferry transport on the Black Sea.

The presentations were made on the status of pilot projects on Kiev Borispol Commercial Park Logistics Centre, as well as on the development of the Logistics Corridors through Turkey, Ferry Complex Development plans in the Port of Ilyichevsk, Port of Alyat, and ILC at Zvartnots.
