On the 8th of June, 2011, the Republic of Armenia officially joined the TACHOnet network.

On the 8th of June, 2011, the Republic of Armenia received its National Keys for the Digital Tachograph System with which Armenia officially joined the TACHOnet network.

On the 10th of June, 2011, the keys were transmitted to the company ''PWPW'' (Polish Security Printing Works). The company had won the international tender for personalization of the digital tachograph cards which was announced by the Ministry of Transport and Communication of Armenia. After 2 weeks of testing, Armenia will be able to issue the cards.

Meanwhile, since 2006 the Republic of Armenia has joined the European Agreement Concerning the Work of Crews of Vehicles Engaged in International Road Transport (AETR), which provides the usage of control devices in transport vehicles carrying goods.
