TRACECA Contribution in the framework of the International Exhibition TRANSCASPIAN 2013: “Transport Transit Logistics"

For 12 years TransCaspian became an important transport forum in the region to demonstrate a full complex of industrial solutions – from forwarding services to software, cargo handling equipment and innovative technologies. This exhibition became a principal platform to discuss the most urgent issues of the transport system, the development of new information interactive systems of various transport modes which is aimed at successful solution of transit, transport and logistics issues in the global market of transport-logistical services. 

Annual Exhibition activity testifies the interest and approbation of its participants regarding its unquestionable actuality and exactly reflects modern tendencies of the transport industry based upon swift development of this sector of economy and changes in the nature of the requirements to transport services.

The exhibition gathers serious exhibitors, including the Permanent Secretariat of the IGC TRACECA as well as transport and logistical operators, carriers, railway, shipping and air transport companies, shipbuilding and road-building companies, distributors of commercial transport, ports and many other transport enterprises from different countries. 

Within three-day exhibition TransCaspian 2013 held on 13-15 June 2013, in Baku EXPO CENTRE, Azerbaijan, the TRACECA stand was visited by Mr. Musa Panakhov, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the representatives of the Embassies of the TRACECA member states  and the interested diplomatic representations, shipping operators, mass media representatives, the invited guests and many others. The exhibition participants were informed of the recent achievements within TRACECA, the current IGC TRACECA Strategy for the period up to 2015, the organized Investment Forums, the on-going and future TRACECA projects, as well as the steps taken towards further development.

Visualization of the TRACECA expositions – “TRACECA Atlas”, “Guidelines for TRACECA Investments”, “TRACECA Regional Action Strategy on Maritime Safety and Security and Environmental Protection for the period up to 2021”, “TRACECA Map”, as well as informative brochures attracted attention of visitors, aroused interest among professionally involved participants of TRANSCASPIAN 2013 and promoted favourable conditions for the stand activities.

On the outcomes the Exhibition organizers presented a thanksgiving certificate to the Permanent Secretariat of the IGC TRACECA for the support, contribution and many years of cooperation.
