On June 2, 2023 at Baku Congress Center the 1st Caspian International Forum "Transport and Logistics" opened within the framework of the Baku Energy Week

Among the countries participating in the forum are USA, Germany, Azerbaijan, Belarus, United Arab Emirates, UK, China, Finland, France, Georgia, India, Netherlands, Israel, Spain, Switzerland, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Norway, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey, Croatia, Japan, Greece and Uzbekistan.

The Forum focused on such topics as transit perspectives in logistics infrastructure, logistics optimization and automation, human capital in transportation, etc.

During the panel sessions the speakers from Azerbaijan state institutions including the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, State Customs Committee, National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, representatives of global organizations such as FIATA, Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, transport-forwarding associations of different countries, foreign and local professionals of transport sector
 
Mr. Assavbayev A.A., Secretary General of the PS IGC TRACECA, made a welcoming speech within the framework of the Plenary Session organized with the support of the Azerbaijan Railways.
 
The Secretary General stressed the main directions of the activities of the PS IGC TRACECA and emphasized that "... TRACECA also pays sufficient attention to the issues discussed within the framework of the International Forum "Transport and Logistics". I hope that the discussions and exchanges during these days will make a significant contribution to the further development of transportation in the region and the establishment of supply chains. The Permanent Secretariat stands ready to cooperate to ensure efficient logistics”.

The deepening and development of transport connectivity has been and remains an important issue that requires joint internationally coordinated decisions.

In this context, this forum serves as a favorable platform for the exchange of information and experience between the players of the transport sector, establishment of new business links, as well as acquisition of new partners.
 
The organizers of the Forum awarded the certificate of gratitude to the PS IGC TRACECA, which has been the official party supporting the exhibition "Transport, Transit and Logistics" for many years.

The Caspian International Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition was held at Baku Expo Center from 31 May to 2 June 2023. It is gratifying that this exhibition celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
 
The 1st Caspian International Forum "Transport, Transit and Logistics" is being held with the active organizational support of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) and Green Corridor.
