Flight safety and security play a primary role in the operation and development of international air transport

In order to discuss a topical topic, the training course brought together representatives of the civil aviation industry from 13 countries. The course covered such topics as legal regulation in the field of aviation security, terrorism, the role of risk management, current priorities and measures in ensuring security, the global security plan, etc.

The definitions of aviation security and related legislation, the threat of terrorism, how to mitigate it for civil aviation, the role of risk management in the industry, and the categorization of key actions in risk assessment were the focus of the course participants.

Particular attention during the course was paid to the impact of COVID-19 on the regime and control of aviation security (AVSEC), the priorities of the ICAO Global Aviation Security Plan (ICAO GASeP) and ways of its implementation.

Upon completion of the courses, the participants received answers to their questions.
