Discussion of prospects for TRACECA-OSJD cooperation

The objective of the meeting is to strengthen the dialogue between two organizations, identify areas of mutual cooperation aimed at the development and improvement of international rail transport.
 
During the meeting, the participants outlined the main areas of activity carried out by TRACECA and OSJD. In particular, the Secretary General of the PS IGC TRACECA, Mr. Assavbayev A.A. highlighted the work carried out with the support and assistance of OSJD, UIC and CIT on the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on organization of pilot project(s) for use of electronic CIM/SMGS consignment note (signed by interested parties on 22 May 2023).
 
The discussions also focused on the signing of a draft Memorandum of Understanding between TRACECA and OSJD, which will ensure the development and strengthening of relations in areas of mutual interest.

On the outcomes of the meeting, the participants agreed to actively work on deepening relations in the TRACECA-OSJD format.
