On November 25, 2022 in Aktau, the Secretary General of the PS IGC TRACECA, Mr. A. Assavbayev took part in the Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Transport of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Georgia.

The past event is a continuation of the first meeting in the trilateral format, which took place on June 27, 2022 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
 
On the outcomes of discussions, a Roadmap for 2022-2027 for the development and operation of the Middle Corridor of the above-mentioned countries was signed. The capacity of the corridor is expected to increase up to 10 million tons per year by 2025.

It should be noted that TRACECA supports the aspirations of its countries to eliminate bottlenecks and barriers to simplify the transportation process in the region.

This factor will have a positive effect on the capacity of the corridor. Since TRACECA is aimed at the practical implementation of projects and initiatives in order to promote and improve the conditions of cargo transportation in the countries of Europe-the Caucasus-Asia region.
