On May 4, 2011 Istanbul (Turkey) at the headquarters of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), working meeting was held between Mr. Eduard Biriucov, Secretary General of the PS IGC TRACECA, and Mr. Leonidas Chrysanthopoulos, Secretary General of BSEC

The discussion addressed the priority issues of mutual cooperation, based on the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the PS IGC TRACECA and BSEC in the context of the international transport corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia, which will enable effective development of trade and economic relations, including the Euro-Asian transport links.

The Parties also exchanged views on prospects for regional development, further progress in implementing of the partnership, have expressed a mutual desire for closer cooperation. 

Taking into account TRACECA First Investment Forum 2010 held in Brussels, Mr E. Biriucov informed Mr. Chrysanthopoulos on preparation for the Second Investment Forum in 2012 with the participation of different IFIs and inter-governmental structures, mentioned the necessity for participation of all stakeholders.
