UzbekistanOn 26 April 2017, Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan the opening ceremony of 16th International Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition TransCaspian 2017 was held in Baku Expo-Center
The opening ceremony of TransCaspian 2017 was attended by H.E. Mr. Ramin Guluzadeh, Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Victor Dovhan, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine for European Integration, Mr. Farid Mammadov, Executive Director of the Iteca Caspian, Mr. Mircea Ciopraga, Secretary General of TRACECA, Mr. Akif Mustafayev, National Secretary of the IGC TRACECA, representatives of the Embassies of the MLA TRACECA member states, transport operators, companies, organizations, sector structures from Azerbaijan, Austria, Belarus, France, Germany, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Russia and Turkey, mass media representatives, invited guests and many others.
TransCaspian Exhibition became an important transport forum in the region Europe-the Caucasus-Asia, a principal platform to discuss the most urgent issues of the transport sector, the development of new information interactive systems of various transport modes, transit and logistics in the global market of transport-logistics services.
This platform also presents the 7th Caspian International Road Infrastructure and Public Transport Exhibition, Road & Traffic 2017 and the 4th Caspian International Boat and Yacht Exhibition, CIBS 2017.
It is necessary to note that TransCaspian Exhibition since its foundation has been cooperating closely with the Permanent Secretariat of the IGC TRACECA receiving its support. In addition, the Permanent Secretariat of the IGC TRACECA through its representatives TRACECA countries actively attracts and involves interested companies of transport complexes to participate in this Annual Exhibition.
Along with commercial companies TransCaspian 2017 presented pavilions of state companies, including the Railways of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company and the State Automobile Transport Service.
The TransCaspian presents a large number exhibits (about 70) devoted to railway transport, sea and river ports, airports, mail and messenger service and shipbuilding sector, logistics supplemented with the proposals of financial and customs services and many other transport enterprises.
The International Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition TransCaspian 2017 will last till 28 April 2017.
