On 19 October 2015, H.E. Mr. Rodrigo Labardini, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mexican Republic to Azerbaijan visited TRACECA Headquarter

Participants of the meeting discussed trade and economic situation in TRACECA region as well as the issues of cargo transportation along the corridor and further to the east.

Mr. Ciopraga has briefly presented to H.E. Mr. Labardini on the latest activities of TRACECA, future vision and plans. In particular, they discussed the implementation of multilateral «TRACECA permits» and the benefits of its issuance.

On the one hand it would facilitate working conditions for motorists in TRACECA countries; on the other hand it would involve TRACECA domestic market in trading competition.

In January 2015 within IGC Meeting in Turkey it was decided to introduce the practice of TRACECA multilateral permits, and the countries signed the document in order to began to use these permissions.

Mr. Ciopraga and Mr. Labardini exchanged views on the issues of customs and border crossing procedures among TRACECA countries as one of the important part for trade facilitation

On the outcomes of the meeting, the Parties came to an agreement on further consideration of the possibilities of close bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
