On 18th of May 2016, Mr. Ciopraga, TRACECA Secretary General and Mr. Dimitry Kumsishvili, Vice-Prime-Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia met during the OSCE Connectivity Conference

It was mentioned that interstate connections of transport infrastructure and uninterrupted access to the networks are of crucial importance for economic prosperity and stability for member-countries of TRACECA region. 

Mr. Ciopraga and Mr. Kumsishvili underlined that the attention should be paid to bottlenecks as well as common standards within the corridor for creating a rules-based level which will have direct impact for main transport players.  

The most important is the effectiveness of the process of legal harmonization and freight transit rules in TRACECA member-countries.
