On 13 October 2015 Mr. Ciopraga, TRACECA Secretary General of the PS IGC TRACECA met with Mr. Piotr Antoni Switalski, Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the European Union to Armenia

The assistance provided through TRACECA technical assistance projects formed a common understanding of the transport sector, facilitated the harmonization of transport legal basis. It was also mentioned that with the projects support the countries focused attention on the creation of more favourable conditions for investing into transport infrastructure, provision of intermodal transport.

Mr. Ciopraga shared the views with Mr. Switalski on the implementation of TRACECA Strategy, further realization of Plan of activities till the end of 2015 and prospects of TRACECA development in the future.

The parties of the meeting also exchanged views on the cooperation within dialogue with the mechanism of Neighbourhood Investment Facility (NIF) and (Investment Facility for Central Asia) IFCA.
