On 12 May 2015, Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan the opening ceremony of 14th International Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition TransCaspian 2015 was held in the Baku Expo-Center

The opening ceremony of TransCaspian 2015 was attended by Mr. Musa Panakhov, Deputy Minister of Transport, Mr. Mircea Ciopraga, Secretary General of TRACECA, Mr. Akif Mustafayev, National Secretary of the IGC TRACECA in Azerbaijan, representatives of the Embassies of the MLA TRACECA member states, transport operators, companies, organizations, sector structures from Azerbaijan, Belorussia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and Switzerland, mass media representatives, invited guests and many others.

TransCaspian Exhibition became an important transport forum in the region Europe-the Caucasus-Asia, a principal platform to discuss the most urgent issues of the transport sector, the development of new information interactive systems of various transport modes, transit and logistics in the global market of transport-logistics services. This platform also presents the 5th Anniversary Caspian International Road Infrastructure and Public Transport Exhibition. 

It is necessary to note that TransCaspian Exhibition since its foundation has been cooperating closely with the Permanent Secretariat of the IGC TRACECA and the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan receiving as well their support. Moreover, the Permanent Secretariat of the IGC TRACECA through its representatives TRACECA countries actively attracts and involves interested companies of transport complexes to participate in this Annual Exhibition.

Along with commercial companies TransCaspian 2015 presented pavilions of state companies, including the Railways of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company and the State Automobile Transport Service.
The TransCaspian presents a large number exhibits (about 72) devoted to railway transport, sea and river ports, airports, mail and messenger service and shipbuilding sector, logistics supplemented with the proposals of financial and customs services and many other transport enterprises.

The International Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition TransCaspian 2015 will last till 14 May 2015.
