On 12 January 2011 the visit of Mr. Arjen Uitelinder, H.E. Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands to the Republic of Azerbaijan, to the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of the IGC TRACECA

During the meeting, Mr. E. Biriucov informed Mr. A. Uitelinder on goals, objectives and activities of the Permanent Secretariat of the IGC TRACECA, mentioning the role of the TRACECA corridor, as well as the recent developments in the IGC TRACECA. Parties discussed the outcomes of the Investment Forum held in Brussels, 12 October 2010. 

In the context of discussion on TRACECA technical assistance projects, participants of the meeting also emphasized the contribution of the activities of Dutch companies in the corridor development through the participation in TRACECA technical assistance projects.

During the meeting the Parties also exchanged views on prospects for development of the corridor, as well as the implementation of the Strategy of the IGC TRACECA for the development of international transport corridor.

Discussing the results of the Investment Forum held in Brussels, 12 October 2010, Mr. Ambassador expressed interest in attracting the Dutch companies and the implementation of the projects presented during the Forum.

At the end of the meeting, participants expressed a mutual desire to further expansion of cooperation between the Dutch mission in Azerbaijan and the PS IGC TRACECA.
