On 10-11 August 2011 at the Headquarter of the PS IGC TRACECA working meeting was held between Mr. Eduard Biriucov, TRACECA Secretary General, experts of the Permanent Secretariat and Mr. Andreas Schoen, Team Leader of TRACECA LOGMOS project (copy 1)

Within the framework of Tbilisi meeting the presentations of project activity on the issues of logistic and motorways of the sea for Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan beneficiaries will be provided. During the programme there will be presented action plans on the initiatives identified in the course of the “Motorways of the Sea I” and “Logistic Centres” projects in the western part of TRACECA and Central Asia.

There was an exchange of views in the course of the discussions regarding the necessity of effective participation of beneficiaries’ representatives in the current project activities which will allow providing development of transport connections on TRACECA routes, and improving regional cooperation.

On the results of the meeting the participants admitted the necessity of constructive approach in solving further questions for the achievement of tasks and purposes of successfully launched TRACECA “LOGMOS” project.
