New TRACECA ways for further development and enhancement of cooperation

The meeting agenda included the negotiations on 6 issues of further development of the Programme, strategy of communication, Investment Forum, TRACECA site, accession of new countries, financing of executive staff support.

Discussion touched the issue of the effective implementation of the EC-funded projects in all TRACECA states. European Commission expressed the intention to track the development of the international situation in the context of identification of further technical assistance projects.

In view of a new vision of the European Union cooperation and neighbourhood of the Eastern region and Central Asia, the parties agreed on joint cooperation and close effective communication in the future.

In the framework of TRACECA new objectives and aims, the European Commission expressed its readiness to become TRACECA partner on the basis of mutual understanding.
