Dialogue with Mr. Alexander Andryuchshenko, President of Maritime Transport Entrepreneurs' Association (MTEA) for future partnership

Since 2008 MTEA is a nonprofit organization uniting on a voluntary basis legal entities in order to promote maritime transport in the Republic of Kazakhstan, to coordinate their activities aimed at solution of production, scientific and technological, social and economic problems and protect their common interests.

Within the discussion of international cooperation, Mr. Ciopraga and Mr. Andryuchshenko discussed the possible ways of mutual collaboration for sustainable development and promotion of maritime transport not only Kazakhstan but the whole Central Asian and Caucasian regions.

At the same time, the Parties emphasized the necessity in strengthening the political dialogue with the purpose of implementing of the idea of the Great Silk Way development within the framework of TRACECA activities.

The Parties also discussed the problems of transport and bilateral relations of some TRACECA countries in development of maritime traffic. They expressed their mutual striving for further close cooperation.
