On 21 November 2016, in Kiev, Ukraine within the framework of the Meeting of the Permanent Representatives of the PS IGC TRACECA in MLA TRACECA member states under high participation of H.E. Mr. Volodymyr Omelyan, Minister of Infrastructure and Chairman of the IGC TRACECA of Ukraine, the plenipotentiary representatives of the countries: the Republic of Armenia, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, the Republic of Turkey and Ukraine signed amendments to the Technical Document “TRACECA Multilateral Permit. User Guide”.
These amendments to the Technical Document on TRACECA multilateral permit for international road transport were signed based on the Decision of the XII Meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission TRACECA of 1 June 2016 in Odessa, Ukraine.
The decision to implement TRACECA Permits system was adopted at the XI session of the IGC in Turkey at the beginning of 2015 and came into effect started from 1 January 2016.
TRACECA Permit authorizes the international road carriers to perform multilateral haulages through the territory of TRACECA Permits System member countries during freight year.
