Türkiye, being aware of its geographic importance, spends great effort to establish transportation connections between Europe, Asia and Africa. The system of highways network in our country is significant to provide national development, unity and general development in the region.

The total length of highway is 68.526 km.

In the context of geographic location of our country, Türkiye is situated in a point where the Asian, European and African continents are close to each other. Being a natural bridge, our country is located in the center of the European–Asian international transport network linking Asia, Europe and even the Pacific countries of the Far East.
