Safety Management initiative: SSP / EASP training, Chisinau, 19-23 May 2014

The overall objective of the Safety Management initiative is to provide support to the civil aviation authorities of the TRACECA countries in their obligation to implement their State Safety Programmes (SSPs) and, in case of ENPI countries, facilitate a more efficient means of discharging this obligation by participating in a European Aviation Safety Programme (EASP).  The training programme included standard ICAO SSP training delivered in Russian language by ICAO experts on the latest regulatory and guidance material, EASP part delivered in English language by an EASA expert, and practical experience on the national level, delivered in English by an EU NAA expert.
18 participants from 5 beneficiary countries participated.
