On January 29, 2020, in Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan, there was held the meeting between Mr. Asset Assavbayev, the Secretary General of the PS IGC TRACECA and Mr. Parvin Mirzazadeh, the Head of the State Protocol Department of the MFA Azerbaijan

"Interaction with representatives of the diplomatic corps, international organizations and financial institutions accredited in the Republic of Azerbaijan is one of the priority tasks within the framework of the diplomatic service essential for strengthening international trade and economic relations of our whole region," Asset Assavbayev noted.

Taking into account the status of an international body - the Intergovernmental Commission TRACECA with it executive body Permanent Secretariat in Baku, as well as the fact that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan is the Depositary of the Basic Multilateral Agreement on International Transport for Development of Europe-the Caucasus-Asia corridor, Mr. Assavbayev emphasized the importance of strengthening dialogue and effective cooperation with the State Protocol Department of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, Mr. Mirzazadeh expressed his readiness to provide assistance and direct support both at the multilateral and bilateral international levels.
