Information on Customs Service in Armenia

The customs system of the Republic of Armenia was established on January 4, by a decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia. During the first years of its activity it was a customs department, in July 1999 it formed part of the Ministry of state revenue. The state customs committee of the Government of the Republic of Armenia was established in 2001 by a decree of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. On August 20, 2008, the President of the Republic of Armenia signed a decree about the merging of the state customs committee and the state tax service.
