Kazakhstan. Updated. Regime of transportation in terms of COVID-19 pandemic as of November 04, 2020
Kazakhstan sets out the requirement of negative PCR test certificate for COVID-19 for international drivers.
Drivers (foreign citizens and of the Republic of Kazakhstan) involved in international bilateral and transit cargo transportation, starting from November 9, should provide a certificate with a negative PCR test for COVID-19 when entering Kazakhstan.
This requirement was introduced due to an increase of imported COVID-19 cases from abroad.
In case of absence of a certificate from the citizens of Kazakhstan, cargo carriers will be quarantined for two days until the results of PCR tests are issued.
