Urgent. Updated: Kazakhstan will suspend the service of ships from Azerbaijan and Iran

March 04, 2020, 18:15 (local time in Baku), according to the information of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Interdepartmental Commission under the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan decided to temporarily suspend on March 5 the acceptance of ships carrying passenger vehicles with crew in the ports of Aktau and Kuryk.

This requirement does not apply to the carriage of passengers of ships, as well as the transport of freight vehicles with crew, with the exception of vehicles registered and following from Iran.

The measures taken are temporary, and if the situation with the coronavirus improves, these transportations will be resumed.
