TRACECA participates in the International Dialogue on Future Mobility
On September 9-10, 2025, in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, the Global Mobility Conference entitled "Futures Together: Innovation for Unlocking Progress" was held, jointly organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea, the Korean Transportation Safety Authority and the International Transport Forum (ITF).
The conference brought together heads and leading representatives of transport agencies and research institutes of Asia, as well as international financial institutions and transport organizations, including the PS IGC TRACECA, ADB, UNECE, OECD, ESCAP and others.
The event provided a constructive platform for a detailed analysis of the role of mobility in shaping modern societies and its potential to reduce social inequalities.
The two-day conference included sessions on the implementation of automated and “smart” transport technologies, as well as overcoming challenges related to their safety and inclusivity.
As part of the exchange of views, Mr. Asset Assavbayev, Secretary General of the PS IGC TRACECA informed the conference participants about the TRACECA experience related to the advantages and potential risks of implementing innovative solutions.
In this regard, Mr. Assavbayev emphasized the importance of coordination to ensure equitable access to innovation: "We want every country, from the Caspian to the Black Sea, to have equal access to digital, green, and smart transport solutions."
The PS IGC TRACECA underlines its willingness to work with international partners and businesses once again to promote the development of a safer, more modern and efficient regional transport system.

- On September 11, 2025, as part of the conference, the guests of the event visited the Autonomous A2Z Research Center, Hyundai Motorstudio in Gwangmyeon, and the control center of the Korean railway operator Korail.
