Romania. Regime of maritime transport in the TRACECA region under the COVID-19 pandemic as of April 15, 2020
15.04.2020
The same applies to the vessel if any of the crew members have visited the risk zone during the last 14 days. The quarantine period is calculated from the departure date of vessel from the risk zone or from the date of registration of crew members.
Vessel crews undergo a thorough inspection upon arrival at the port including the physical examination, the temperature screening, checking the vessel’s medlogs and the history of crew movements. Accordingly, the port authorities have asked to timely notify them if the vessel has had crew changes in the past two weeks and crew members have travelled through COVID-19 affected zones, or if the vessel 's last 10 ports of call include ports of China, South Korea, Italy, Iran, France, Germany and Spain. They also ask to publish on the MSW platform (Maritime Single Window) the date and the place of crew change in accordance with the instructions of the RNA.
During the vessel 's quarantine, medical personnel conduct the temperature screening of people on board twice a day. Agents are informed of the screening results and the health status of the crew.
Quarantine restrictions are lifted after the expiration of the established period of quarantine and the final medical check of the crew.
