Proposals of TRACECA countries on digitalization of the existing Multilateral Permits System were discussed

Mr. Assavbayev, Secretary General of the PS IGC TRACECA, pointed out that a unified approach and understanding of the countries are very important. This will form the basis for further work on creating the TRACECA digital ecosystem.

The participants of the Working Group also considered the text of draft decisions on converting the existing system to electronic format and discussed the proposals received. The main difference of the proposed digital system is the possibility to apply  the TRACECA multiple-entry permits.

It should be noted that on June 30 this year, in the framework of the First Meeting of the Working Group on finalizing the text of the Agreement on Single Transit Permit of TRACECA, a number of countries expressed their interest in continuing the work on digitalization of the existing TRACECA Multilateral Permits System.
