Moldova. Updated. Regime of cargo transportation in terms of COVID-19 pandemic as of 03 June 2020

According to Decree No. 14 of 06/03/20, the National Emergency Commission of Public Health of the Republic of Moldova, starting from June 15, 2020, regular passenger air flights and regular passenger charter flights resumes, with strict adherence to the following measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 disease:

1. Chisinau International Airport to provide:
- organization of measures to prevent COVID-19 infection for passengers and employees in the arrival and departure halls: temperature checks, protective screens, personal protective equipment, disinfectant solutions, maintaining social distance;
- disinfection of premises and facilities in the terminal in accordance with the recommendations of the National Public Health Agency.

2. National and foreign air operators to provide:
- compliance with measures to prevent infection with COVID-19 by flight personnel and passengers;
- informing passengers about compliance with measures to prevent infection of COVID-19 before the flight, during the flight and after landing;
 - printing and distribution the forms on board of the aircraft that must be filled in by passengers during the flight.

3. Ground handling operators (handling) to provide:
 - transportation of passengers from the terminal to the aircraft and in the opposite direction without undue delays and ensuring sanitary rules;
- disinfection of rooms and contact surfaces in accordance with the recommendations of the National Public Health Agency.

4. The civil aviation authority should make available to aviation agents and public authorities operating at international airports of the Republic of Moldova information materials on measures to prevent COVID-19 infection for passengers and workers, developed by national and international authorities.
