Geographical Description

The terminal comes in two Trans-European corridors - ? 7 - River Rhine - Main - Danube and the number 9 - Giurgiu - Rousse - Dimitrovgrad - Aleksandrupulis / Istanbul. Port of Rousse is the biggest Bulgarian river port. Railway station Rousse associated with a large Black Sea port of Varna via the railway line Rousse - Varna, which is a very important link for the intermodal transport
Envisaged to start the project in 2007-BG-90302-S "Technical assistance to the construction of an intermodal terminal in the northern central area planning for regional development in Bulgaria - Ruse.

Technical Description

Types of work:
Training needs assessment and identification of the object. Preparation of financial and economic analysis of costs and benefits. Preparation of the ideological project of building an intermodal terminal Ruse. Analysis of options for public-private partnerships for construction and operation of intermodal terminal Ruse and strategy ERs. Preparation of a strategy of placing public procurement and tender documentation.
