Urgent: Kazakhstan will suspend the service of ships from Azerbaijan and Iran

The aim of restrictive measures is the prevention the spread of coronavirus.
The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan informed about the temporary suspension from March 5 this year of service of ships in the ports of Aktau and Kuryk arriving from Azerbaijan and Iran, and transporting people and vehicles with drivers.
For the crews of foreign cargo ships, the exit from ships in the ports of Aktau and Kuryk is restricted. Sanitary and epidemiological services will tighten control over the crew members of Kazakhstan ships engaged in international traffic in the process of crew change in the ports.
Information on the measures taken will be brought to the attention of the maritime administrations of the Caspian Sea States.
The PS monitors the situation and takes measures to resolve issues of freight delivery under restrictive measures.
