Mr. Ciopraga met with the German representatives of DB Engineering and Consulting Company to discuss future cooperation and new projects

By offering implementation of different projects, the company helps to ensure the future success of business centers, makes an important contribution to environmental protection in order to meet needs of the customers and bring markets and people together.

Mr. Christoph Nienhaus and Mr. Christian Rodig, specialists and experts of the company shared with Mr. Ciopraga, TRACECA Secretary General on the ongoing activity of DB Engineering & Consulting.

Currently the company are working on a project for Azerbaijan Railways and preparation of business Plan. This includes the analysis of the existing situation, definition of the target situation in 5 years and the development of a concrete action plan. 

Mr. Nienhaus mentioned that the target of the business plan is to create a comprehensive modernization of the company. Major topics are the exploration of all market potentials, definition of new products, development of a sustainable company strategy and the definition of the requirements for efficient operations. In this regard, the involvement of TRACECA will provide valuable input.

In his turn, Mr. Ciopraga expressed his willingness to support all mutually beneficial initiatives.  He also exchanged views with the experts on the possible ways of cooperation, ongoing status of TRACECA development, new adopted Strategy for 2016-2026. 

Mr. Ciopraga also suggested to discuss interested technical issues regarding International and transit freight flows as well as the regional transportation market in TRACECA region with related experts of the Permanent Secretariat of the IGC TRACECA and representatives in the TRACECA member countries.
