Secretary General of PS IGC TRACECA Meets with Representatives of the AGTL Association

The meeting was organised as part of systemic initiatives to strengthen practical cooperation, develop international logistics infrastructure and expand partnership engagement with professional industry associations.

During the meeting, the Secretary General provided detailed information on the current activities of PS IGC TRACECA, key initiatives and ongoing projects, emphasising the strategic importance of dialogue for the development of mutual cooperation and for improving the efficiency of logistics processes in the region.

Continuing the meeting, the sides held a detailed exchange of views on a wide range of issues, including the development of the Middle Corridor, the strategic position of the Republic of Azerbaijan along this route, as well as the role of TRACECA in strengthening regional transport connectivity.

Particular attention was paid to the application of modern logistics solutions and the coordination of joint action to enhance transit potential. During the meeting, the Secretary General outlined the priorities reflecting readiness to implement initiatives of mutual interest, and also invited the participants to the 22nd International Capacity-Building Seminar on Trade and Transport Facilitation and Data Sharing, to be held on 7 September 2026 at the headquarters of the PS TRACECA. Following the talks, the sides confirmed their mutual readiness to continue active cooperation and jointly implement the planned activities.
